ptycoin — week of 2026-09-14

The most reworked piece this week was a profile of a Panamanian crypto app. It went through several rounds in both languages:

  • the title and a Costa Rica fee claim were revised
  • a regulatory status got an explicit as-of date
  • the card spending limits were cut, then restored once I confirmed them
  • caveats were moved into the text instead of piled up at the end

Its cover uses the company’s official logo, not a generated image.

Policy carried a lot of the week. The US market-structure bill failed a cloture vote, and a new proposed rule on stablecoin issuance, offer and sale got its own write-up, which I simplified after the first draft. News covered a US neobank launching dollar stablecoin services, a deal between exchange operators and a new rule for tokenized bonds in India.

I also expanded the guide on token approvals and updated its date to match, and fixed a project cover that had come out wrong. The weekday news run and the weekly slots kept to the new schedule.
